Announcement for Green Waste Unit
The Vorokliini Community Council would like to inform you that the Green Waste in Aradippou (along the main road Aradippou to Avdellero) it has commenced collection, for the under mentioned waste products. These items must originate only from households. See the tables below for guidance:
The Green Waste Unit is free of charge for the Residents of the Community but not free of charge for Private Contractors.
The Council will stop collecting Green Waste and Bulky Items every Monday of each month. The last collection will take place on Monday July 6, 2020.
In the cases of residents not complying with the regulation, then the offenders will be given a 2 days notice for the removal of green waste – pruning. If the offenders do not comply then they will be imposed a fine of €85,00.
If is is not possible to transport the permitted types of waste / materials, the residents can contact the Community Council at 24644744 in order to undertake the transport with the corresponding charge. Specifically, the charge is set at € 20,00 for a double cabin and € 40,00 for a semi-truck.
