During this last period, setting off of fireworks, whether it is to celebrate an anniversary, or a family event has become a frequent phenomenon.  We would like to inform you that according to the Law, setting off fireworks IS PROHIBITED because human lives are put in danger, such as the recent example of a young man whose hand was mutilated. There is also the risk of igniting a fire with unforeseen consequences.

The use of fireworks is only allowed by licensed companies after having complied with the terms and regulations governing legal use of fireworks, obtaining permission from the Mining Service within the Ministry of Agriculture as well as the Local Authority, and that the use of fireworks is only for cultural or touristic events.
