Opening of the Oroklini Lake Photo Exhibition

A Photo Exhibition demonstrating Oroklini Lake’s beautiful landscapes and wildlife through the four seasons will be opening on 20 November 2013, at 19:00, at the Voroklini Community Council building, at Larnaca, as part of the LIFE Oroklini project.

At the event, the public will have the chance to enjoy photos depicting Oroklini Lake, its birds as well as other wildlife through the lens of 32 photographers who participated in the Photo Competition “Oroklini Lake all through the year”. The competition was organised by the Voroklini Community Council, as part of the LIFE Oroklini project for the restoration and management of Oroklini Lake. On the same day the Voroklini Community Council will award the prizes to the winning photographers. The photo exhibition will remain open for one month.

The LIFE Oroklini project entitled “Restoration and Management of Oroklini Lake” is a three year project implemented with the contribution of the LIFE financial instrument of the European Union.
